章 56: Practice

Meng stood in the sky, wings of fire flapping behind his back, leaking four colors out of them—each color representing different kind of fire. It was a compelling and heartwarming sight.

In front of him was Yueyan, also standing in the air. Flying was one of the first things the duo had learned. Though they could not maintain this form for too long, it was enough, nonetheless.

One of her wings was made of fire and the other of water. "Are you ready to be defeated again?" she grinned.

Meng rolled his eyes. "We will see," he said and then dashed towards her, waving his hands, from which, a long whip of fire appeared, also emitting four colors. Without waiting, he flogged it towards Yueyan.

She looked at the whip of fire and chuckled before forming a barrier made of water. The flog landed on the shield in front of her, producing a hissing sound, and vanished. Meng grunted and dashed towards Yueyan, transforming the whip in his hand into a sword.
