章 1: Chains
Kyn was a young boy living in Sarkaki Village in the Toa Empire.

Liana opened the door of their house and called for him.

Her son turned his head to her nodded a little and came closer.
"I woke earlier and thought finishing things sooner"
Liana smiled brightly at her adorable son and patted his head a little.
"It's okay, let's eat and go to the center sooner today"

Kyn was going to turn 15 years old this year, but he looks older than other children.
Today, after gaining so much yesterday, Liana thought of making a special lunch, so she bought a lot of ingredients last day for the special occasion.

Liana stuffed her chest in a proud pose and waited for commentary.
"It looks delicious"
Her son immediately said what she wanted to hear, Liana smiled brightly and made a sound of victory.
"Hum! Hum! Hum!"
In a symphony way making sounds, she makes like it was nothing, but she was super happy right now.
"Let's eat then!"
As she said, they both started to eat and time passed tranquily.
And as always, today is going to be another normal day.
She was in a difficult situation, but that gold coin is going to sustain them for at least 3 or 4 months.
So she is really happy right now.
After preparing everything, they went to their everyday stall to set up everything, but a strange and strong smell turned their attention to someplace.

When she talked to the man, who looked like a nobleman, a strange courage filled her up.
Liana did not feel any fear in this strange situation, so she did not turn her eyes away from the furious face the man was making.

Today was supposed to be another day like every day, but in the stall with my mother, the strange light from yesterday was shining today way stronger.
I was feeling my eyes burning.
As soon as we finished the preparations, the strange and strong smell coming from one of the back alleys, a fat man with noble clothes, and a little girl with straps was leaving, I saw the world turned gray.
I could see, that everyone had stopped moving.

I felt my voice getting out in a very slow way as if the time has got slower.
When I was trying to understand what was happening.
I could see, the entire world being filled with chains, golden chains in the air, red chains in the buildings and streets, black chains coming out from people.
An impossible scenario, an impossible situation.
In this strange world of chains, one brightly more than others, a white chain coming from the arm of the little girl and locked at the back of the fat man.
When I look in that direction a sweet voice that I never heard before resonates from nowhere.
"Oh..."
The voice was making a sad sound like trying to imitate a human, but the voice was completely emotionless and dry.
"It's a change of Fate, a break of destiny"
The voice said.

The moment the world turned back to normal.
"Ugh!"
A strange pain came to his chest and the last thing he saw, was his mother stepping closer to the girl and the noblemen.
At that moment, everything turned black.
