If I stepped on it, my very heart would feel like it was going to melt or burn from the heat shock that was sent my way.

I could only back away and hiss as my brother figure went for my previously beloved's neck. The trap had been perfectly made for me and any other being who could control powers similar to him. Yet it was irking that I had been left out from a duel that had started because of me.
