"Wherever the hell have you been?" asked Mel in a panicky voice. I raised my eyebrows with a small smile as I noticed her come close to swearing at me and the person with me.

"You may leave," she told the man, proceeding to take my hand and guide me to my bed in the room we shared.

"Wow, how rude," said Lucas with a tilt of his hand and pulled me back to his side so that I was leaning on him again. I enjoyed the warmth of the affection and couldn't help, but smile as the two of them interacted in two different ways.

"Shouldn't you at least invite your guest in for bringing your friend safely?" he asked as he leaned on the door frame, still holding onto my waist as though he owned me.
