"Think about what I said!" '
After a few minutes, she left and Hope went with her.
Klaus was gone. And Caroline hadn't seen in four hours.
She finally gave up sitting in the house, and waiting for him, and went on the streets.
"KLAUS?!" She shouted, wandering the streets.
She had called so many times, his voice mail was full.
"KLAUS??" She yelled herself hoarse. "WHERE ARE YOU??" She had to apologize, she was in the wrong here, and she knew that.
She didn't find him, until she was on the highway.
"Klaus?" She whispered. She saw her shadow.
She saw him change into a wolf. Several men came from outside of the woods. They had guns with them. Vampires. She knew them. She had seen them in New Orleans.
"There it is!" One of them shouted. "Hybrid wolf!"
They shot together. Klaus hadn't noticed them. Klaus hadn't anticipated wooden bullets. It pierced his body, and howls of agony echoed the empty street.
Klaus Mikaelson was on the ground, struck with 7 white oak wood bullets. Others missed.
"What the hell is the matter with you!?" Caroline shouted.
They ran towards them. She grabbed a piece of wood from the corner, and threw it across the street. It crossed four vampires, as they fell to the floor.
Others came after her, and she pulled the hearts out of two vampires, as she threw them on the floor.
Biting one's neck.
She screamed loudly. She was outnumbered. But she was angry, and somehow Klaus being injured had made her vicious.
Seven vampires were left.
"COME AT ME!" She hollered, "SEE WHAT HAPPENS!?"
She was now near Klaus. Five of them ran away. They tried to pull Klaus with them. She snapped the neck of the woman, and held the last man standing with her hand. She flung him across the street, and he crashed against a tree.
"IF I SEE YOU HERE AGAIN! I WILL RIP YOUR HEART OUT!"
Caroline was sitting on the concrete ground.
"Oh, Klaus…" She pulled out the wooden bullets from his chest.
"Aren't you just like me?" He croaked. "Caroline."
She pulled him up.
"I am sorry! okay?" She told him. "Okay? You can threaten all the florists you want."
She pulled out another bullet. He flinched.
"I don't care!" Her nails jabbed into his shoulder, and she found the metal bullet.
Caroline's eyes were filled with tears,
"It's okay, love."
"This is going to hurt." She murmured.
He nodded.
"I am sorry, Klaus Mikaelson." Her eyes closed. "About the florist…I don't care."
She pulled the bullet out.
He held her hand. And pulled himself up.
"That didn't hurt at all, love." he smiled. "Caroline…"
But she wasn't listening. Her eyes had tears in her eyes, they fell on his hand.
"I killed….."
He squeezed her hand gently.
"Love, Listen to...…"
"Five …." She looked extremely upset. "Five people..."
"Oh My God!" Caroline almost sobbed, "I killed five people. KLAUS!"
"It's okay, Love!" Klaus took her back to Mystic Falls. "Let's go, Love!"
"Klaus…..I am a killer, I don't kill…?" She looked upset, and she was crying.
"Caroline, Love…" He held her arms, and shook her, both of their clothes were drenched in blood. "Look at me, you didn't kill without reason. You didn't kill innocent people. Don't you think if you didn't show vicious behavior they wouldn't have torn you apart."
She nodded.
"But I always teach my students," Caroline told him, "That violence is never an option!"
"That's where you are wrong!" Klaus was now pulling the bodies of the dead vampires.
She followed him. He took all the vampires into the woods. And found a stick and started digging.
"Klaus?" She asked him, "How am I wrong, how am I wrong…..Isn't violence makes you go crazy?"
She picked up a stick from the ground.
"Even humans kill." He didn't look up, "Violence is a part of humans, and it just amplifies."
She couldn't understand how Klaus was explaining this better than anyone ever.
"Violence is the last option." Klaus told her, "But it is still an option. It is always an option. And in some cases, Killing is the only option." He glanced at her, "Like this one."
Caroline nodded again.
"If you hadn't killed them." She looked at the last body, which had the long rifle stuck in his heart. "You really got him!"
"Klaus?!" She said exasperatedly. He was reminding her of the killing.
"Okay, okay...If you didn't kill…." He told her, "They would have killed you, and you are an important person."
Caroline smiled. "For you, for Josie and Lizzie."
"No, I am not just talking about me." He said, "You are educating several young supernaturals. Most of them are doing nothing."
Klaus smiled.
"I love you!" She told him.
"I know…" He smirked.
Caroline hit him with the stick, and broke out laughing.
