He Juan pulled over sharply in front of the house and stepped out, slamming the door shut behind him.
His sharp gaze focused on the anxious and disheveled boy clad in a bright red suit and matching color shorts before him. Despite the anxiety burning in his chest, he maintained a composed demeanor and even managed to offer a smile to the boy. "Zhong Yun?"
"Y–Yes, I am Zhong Yun! Nice to meet you, Sir!" Zhong Yun squeaked out and stood up straighter out of reflex, only to be ashamed when he recalled his current attire. Fantastic, he thought, meeting Mu Yuze's guardian for the first time looking like a mess. What a perfect way to leave a lasting impression!
Earlier, when an unknown number called Mu Yuze's phone, Zhong Yun was in the midst of helping the boy open the gate. Alas, Mu Yuze did not seem like he cared about the call as he stumbled into the house, leaving a bewildered Zhong Yun behind to deal with it.
But hold on a minute… why did this man seem familiar somehow?
AHHH FINALLY THE SCENE I'VE BEEN WANTING TO WRITE FOR MONTHS >////<
just for clarification: in volume 1, HJ has not had his rut in seven years and his Alpha was practically in a dormant state for so long, and thus he couldn't recognize MY as his mate at first. It's only the irresistible pull and attraction *giggle*
Ps: will try to update two ch starting from Monday QAQ
