章 65: Musings

Grace Inolan paced nervously outside Kristofer's condo. She knew that he was out and would be back in a few minutes.

She'd been trying not to contact him since last night. She knew that he was busy. But her nerves were on edge and she hardly slept.

He was the only person whom she could turn to. Her husband came home last night but he almost immediately left for another conference.

Grace pretty much already pictured this scenario out in her mind. Even before the wedding was set, she knew what it would be like.

And she thought she was going to be able to bear it. However, now that she's living it, her anxiety was eating at her from inside and out.

To add, she's been thinking of that stranger non-stop. She would be driven crazy if she didn't do anything about it.

However, seeing any doctor was out of the question. Anyone could be a spy. She didn't want any rumors to spread.

Her only hope was Kristofer.
