Anna gasped. She stared at Kristofer who had a smirk on his lips, standing by the door of their shared bedroom.
"You can walk now?" Kristofer nodded. His bodyguards stood behind him.
"But not for long." He sighed, his legs wobbling at his weight. With the help of his guards, they had him sit on the bed.
Anna jumped next to him, smiling like she won the lottery.
"Progress is progress!" She exclaimed, her enthusiasm rubbing off on Kristofer. Elena strode inside the room right after, catching the attention of the two.
"Well, this is indeed good news. Something worth celebrating."
Anna eyed Kristofer. She could sense that his mother had something in her mind and she was having trouble trying to decipher what it could be about. What this could be about.
"What is it, mother?"
Without saying another word, Elena Almodiel opened the purse in her hands. She pulled out two plane tickets, each containing Kristofer and Anna's name on it.
