章 138: Hard To Choose

James glanced at Nicole and smirked. In comparison, Nicole was now sitting closer to him.

"Do you have a boyfriend?" James asked after a few drinks and a moment of silence before. Nicole had time to frown, not understanding the meaning of James' query.

'Is he after me?' – thought Nicole on her mind, trying to guess. Suddenly, her self-confidence rose above the surface. She grinned seductively. 

"No... I'm not currently in a relationship with anyone," Nicole replied confidently and broadly smiled at him. James chuckled and shook his head.

"Then I can't talk to you." What!... actually what James meant, Nicole shrieked over her mind. Nicole became even more confused. James was entirely unlike any man he had met so far. Guessing his thoughts was the hardest and almost impossible. 

"I don't understand." Nicole protested in such an annoying tone at James. Though, James casually responded to her.
