Kieran was still finding it hard to come to terms with the fact that a human had captured the septre. 

The snake had speed like that of vampires and its seven heads were positioned in a three hundred and sixty degree form. That way it could see any attack coming its way and every possible hiding point of its prey but it has been known to live in dense forests where no human dared venture. 

So how could a human have succeeded in capturing one.
