Diana followed behind her, and Delarcy led her into a completely different empty room.
She looked around in a bit of confusion, and before she could utter a question, sudden lights flickered on within the room, revealing holograms with photos of different sets of men.
"Oh my god..." Diana's jaw dropped, and she slowly walked toward the hologram.
She stood beside Delarcy and began to examine every single photo on the board.
"Who are these men?" She asked in complete shock, and a smile emerged on Delarcy's face.
"Cheaters." She replied, and still very confused, Diana turned her head to look at her.
"Cheater?" She raised her eyebrow in a questioning manner, and Delarcy nodded at her.
"Yes, cheaters. They are men, who have mercilessly broken the hearts of fragile women. Women who loved them unconditionally and can't bear to live without them."
She explained, and Diana's face altered in even more confusion.
"Hold on, hold on. I don't understand. What do you mean by men who have broken fragile hearts or whatever you call them?"
She inquired, and Delarcy turned to face her with her arms folded.
"Diana, in this world, there are women who blindly fall in love with men, and at the end of the day, they are taken for granted and wrecked painfully. You, of course, are an example. So see it as us getting justice for those women."
She elucidated, and still perplexed by everything, Diana stuffed her hands into the pocket of her hoodie and turned to look at the board.
"Why do you do this? I mean, can't they handle it themselves? Why are you getting justice for them?"
She returned her attention to Delarcy, and Delarcy chuckled softly.
"Oh no no. See, that's where you are wrong. We don't just simply get justice for them. They assigned and pay us to do so."
She clarified, and utterly appalled, Diana stared at her for a few seconds straight in complete silence.
"Wow! That's... shocking. How do they know about you guys? I thought this was a secret organization or something." She asked in doubt.
"Indeed, we are a secret organization, but we are known too. There are more than you can imagine that know about us. The thing is, they don't know the workers or the owner of this organization. We are like an anonymous organization."
She continued, and Diana slowly nodded her head, now finally understanding.
"I see. So you guys make a huge amount of money from this?" She pried, and Delarcy smirked.
"You cannot imagine how much in a day. After all, it's not easy to break a man's heart." She laughed softly, and Diana chuckled awkwardly with her.
"Wow. I have a few more questions."
"Go on."
"How... do these women contact you guys?" She began, and Delarcy turned around, then searched out their website as fast as she could.
"We have a number right there." She pointed at the hologram and Diana slightly nodded.
"I see. So I guess that is my job. Breaking... men's heart." She smiled awkwardly, and Delarcy nodded at her.
"Why do you think I can do it though?" She inquired in curiosity, and Delarcy let out a subtle breath.
"Because I know you can. You just got your heart broken, so I believe you're more than fit for this job. And trust me, you will feel deep satisfaction with each job done." A wide grin formed on her face.
"Hmmm... may I know when every payment is issued?"
"Once you finish each job successfully, The payment will be issued to you immediately. Latest, three days." Delarcy replied, and pleased to hear such, Diana rejoiced internally.
"Th-that's amazing." A smile ensued on her face, and Delarcy slightly shook her head in amusement.
"Anyway, once your assignment arrives, everything concerning the mission will be sponsored by the organization. Your job is to make the target fall in love with you, and once they are in that deadly and fragile stage, you crush their hearts and emotions to the point that getting back up will be almost impossible. You do it without a bit of sympathy in your heart, do you understand?"
She explained, and Diana took a deep breath before nodding.
"Alright then, that is all." Delarcy smiled and gestured to the door.
They proceeded to leave, but sudden beeps from the hologram caused them to halt their steps.
"Your first assignment has arrived."
