June cleared the table as Asher's words echoing in her head, even when she washed the dishes and helped Asher clean up the mess he made in the kitchen.

It continued until she came to a conclusion.

"I am going to move on from Ethan. There is no other option. Thanks Asher for the pep talk"

"Helping clean my mess is all the thanks I need, Junie" 

June didn't say anything until she finished wiping the table with a towel.

Asher had his back to her as he was trying to close the kitchen window.

"Do you love…Pepper?" 

Asher turned around sharply and look at June.

"No" His voice was firm. "But what I feel for her is a close relative"

June nodded "I think she might in love with you" June blurted out.

Asher tried to suppress the deep throaty laughter that echoed in the kitchen after hearing June's statement but he couldn't.
