章 138: Chapter 138: Men and their stubborness

Lunch was quiet and wholesome with only Wander, Wren and Cardan interacting. While David remained frozen as if he was forced to come here.

David didn't let anything gave away what he was thinking on his face. He ate the food and listened but he didn't say anything else.

Finally they were done eating and Wander was patting her stomach with joy and esteem.

"That was amazing. No wonder my daughter was praising tour cooking" she grinned as Wren gave her a sweet smile as if saying it was cooked by my man.

Cardan held his heart "You flattee me far too much."

Carda stood up and took all the dishes and placed them in the dish washer as Wren followed him into the kitchen like a lost cat.

Cardan smiled sweetly down at her before kicking her out of the kitchen leaving her and her parents alone in the leaving room.

Her parents watched all this happen.

"Is he always like this" Wander asked sitting next to David.
