　　I called a meeting in the evening. Kyle told me the visitors had settled in well. Desiree promised to be nicer at her next meeting. I had threatened to punish her the next time she allowed her emotions to get the best of her. Thinking of it now, I realised it wasn't a good threat because the kind of punishment I had in mind was pleasure-filled, and I could see Desiree being naughty for that purpose. I would just have to hope that she kept her promise regardless. My father's council were waiting in the room when we entered, everyone was present except Kyle, whom I wondered what he was doing. He later entered smelling of Sabrina.

　　"Where have you been?" I asked him through the link, not wanting anyone to know.

　　"I was watching the witches," he confessed.

　　"there was no need for that. Don't make us wait again," I warned him, and he apologised.
