章 134: Conviction (2)

*A Few Minutes Before Alpha2 Awoken*

Blood Detonator had surprisingly reached Physician's large abode. Her brother, S-rank Dancer; Detonator, had figured out something wasn't wrong and used his extremely fast jet to track his sister down.

Long story short, he easily succeeds and found her lugging an unconscious Iron Alchemist on her back. After taking her back to Physician to explain the situation, everything quieted down, and plans were being made to rescue Alpha2, Mist and Icarus.

Iron Alchemist awoke to his Engineer's voice. The elderly man was fixing his systems.

"Hugo's really strong. I want to fight him again," Iron Alchemist said, sighing like a separated lover.

"You need to be more careful, kid," the man sighed, continuing his lecture, "it isn't easy to fix you back up. Eventually, there will come a day when fixing you will cost you more than a few spare parts. It could be something more extreme… like your humanity,"

If you noticed, Iron Alchemist's flashback was longer than Alpha2's. I could've easily made it this entire chapter, but I decided not to. And as for the mysterious 'Engineer', he'll probably have an official introduction in the next ten chapters.

This and the next arc will be short. I'll flesh out all the major characters as much as I can because I want the two arcs post-time skip to be mainly battles.
