章 16: Captain Deadpool signing off!... For now~
Kane was sitting in the glass door cell and watching Cable show up on the truck in the hallways between the 2 rows of prisoners. A woman started fighting Cable, Kane watched with interest. He didn't know who this woman was at all. Apparently she was lucky, Kane didn't think that was a superpower but he never said anything about it.
Suddenly, the back of the truck exploded and Wade appeared in a red suit. Wade looked over and waved at Kane saying "You're here too!" he looked at YOU and continued "Almost as if, you were purposefully put in here..." before turning back to Cable and spinning his swords saying "Do it, Thanos!"
Cable shot his gun and emptied the magazine. Wade spun his katanas in his hands but was riddled with bullets as he said "I knew I shouldn't have jerked off with both arms before coming here!" Kane choked and said "Both arms?" Wade scratched his head with his katana blade, cutting himself, as he said "It fells like someone else is doing it."
Kane shook his head and Cable punched at Wade, who dodged and started fighting with Cable. Kane shook his head and said "Isn't your main target Russel? Why are you fighting everyone you see?" Cable stopped and turned around, Wade complained "Hey! You're ruining my movie! Go back to your own story, discount Magneto!"
Kane retorted "What ever you say, discount Wolverine." Wade gasped and pointed at Kane saying "You! Ruthless Author bastard!" Kane coughed and said "Anyway, go after Cable no?" Wade said "Oh yeah!" before running after Cable shouting "Get back here, Jonah Hex!"
Kane smiled slightly as he watched Wade run after Cable.
Suddenly, the truck was launched into the air and the bridge they were crossing, shattered.
Kane was stuck in his cell, while the truck fell to the ground below, but suddenly the back of his cell was ripped out and Kane was pulled out of the truck, dangling in the air.
Kane was startled and pulled to the ground safely.
Kane landed on the ground and turned around. His eyes widened and he froze on the spot. 'Venom' was in front of him, but this Venom had breasts. Venom said "Almost lost you there." before the head receded to reveal Elizabeth, who added "Hell of a time finding you by the way."
Kane was stunned seeing Elizabeth and didn't speak. Elizabeth smiled slightly and said "Surpri-" Kane pulled her into his arms and hugged her, choking the words back into her mouth. Elizabeth was startled and Kane whispered "Thank you for coming back... and saving me.."
Elizabeth smiled warmly and hugged him back. Kane held her waist and pulled his head back, looking at Elizabeth's face. There was a smooth silence and Kane drew his face closer, just as their lips were about to touch, there was a cough.
Kane froze and Elizabeth's face heated up. Wade said "Well, well. The angsty teenager has a love interest! The will they won't they was really killing me for a while, but now I'm just like Finaaaallyyyyy~!" Wade winked at YOU and said "Kinda seems like juicy chapter stuffing~"
Kane snarled "Fuck off Wade! I almost-" The woman, who fought Cable before, was holding Wade like a back pack and he was only half a person at the moment, but Kane still swung at Wade's head. Wade cried out "Ah! I forgot you have never kissed a girl before my bad!"
Kane's eyes widened and he ripped Wade off the woman's shoulders and used his arms to slam him on the ground repeatedly as his ears turned red and he said "I'LL KILL YOU!" Wade burst out laughing and said "I've been trying this whole movie! That's the plot!"
The woman backed off and stood next to Elizabeth saying "Domino, nice to meet you." Elizabeth replied "Elizabeth, likewise. So... You and this Wade guy?" Domino said "No." Wade chimed in "Not in this timeline at least!" before Domino continued "You and that guy?"
Elizabeth said "I think so.." Domino smiled and said "Good luck." Elizabeth smiled wryly and said "Thanks, I might need it.."
Kane smirked and said "You won't escape this!" he threw Wade to the ground and pissed on him. Wade wretched and said "Gross! What the fuck!" Kane whistled and ignored him, Wade shouted "That's even worse than Russel's shank!" Kane stopped and said "There's nothing worse than that."
Wade was silent and said "Except that Green Lantern deal. What a nightmare." Kane said "Or Detective Pikachu~" before jumping back as Wade swung and said "Hey! I liked that movie!" Kane said "Nobody else did!" as he stood next to Elizabeth with an evil smirk.
Wade said "Fuck! Now I smell like piss!" Domino said "You smelt like piss before." As she dragged him by his mask, Wade waved and said "Wanna come time travel with me later?" he looked up at Domino and said "Mama, can Kane come over for a play date?"
Domino felt her mouth twitch and dropped Wade before leaving by herself. Wade propped himself up on his arms and said "Domino! I am your leader! Wait for me!" as he chased after her on his hands.
Kane chuckled and Elizabeth looked at him with a smile as she said "Feeling better?" Kane turned to her and felt warm inside, she had come to save him, twice, in fact. Kane caressed her cheek and said softly "I am now." Elizabeth smiled but said "So cheesy." Kane shrugged and said "Influenced by Wade."
Elizabeth said "Anyway, Venom's here too. Being She-Venom was fun but I like being normal, no offense." Kane and Venom said "None taken." Kane pulled Elizabeth's waist and kissed her, stunning Elizabeth and making her unable to react for a few seconds before closing her eyes and wrapping her arms around Kane's neck.
Venom transferred from her body to Kane's and the two's lips separated, a thin line of saliva connecting the two. Kane and Elizabeth looked into each other's eyes, there was a lot of unspoken words, but in the end none of them were needed.
They lived together for months before, there was always a subtle atmosphere between the two. Neither of them said anything and Kane even distanced himself from her, unsuccessfully. For him, when she left, he felt like she left for good. There were so many things he wanted to say to her but she was already gone by that point, he was filled with regret at the unsaid words and that's when he started to de-rail, thanks to the heightened negative emotions from the Extremis.
Elizabeth didn't know when, she really started to like Kane. At the beginning it was just curiosity, then she wanted to join Purgatory after hearing about it from Reiner and Angel, after finding out from Cassandra, before she was taken by Keith, what she and Keith did to Kane, she felt sad and angry for him.
When he was captured, she was a bit panicked and she stayed with him after because she didn't have anywhere else to go and because she owed him a favor. When she saw the footage of him after she left, she felt her heart hurt and she realized that she was developing feelings for him. She definitely liked him and she was sure of it.
Kane coughed and said "Where do we go now?" Elizabeth smiled sweetly and said "Anywhere." Kane smiled and said "Then let's go on a vacation, but first back to the base. I need to get this fucking thing off my neck.." Elizabeth nodded and Venom covered Kane.
Venom said "When I bonded to the Spider guy, I got new abilities! Check it out!" Kane wrapped his arm around Elizabeth's waist, having a feeling what Venom was going to do. Sure enough, Venom shot out a black web and Kane, along with Elizabeth, flew into the air.
Kane said "You got that itsy bitsy spider's powers?" Venom replied "No. I replicated his web shooters, and now we can hide from his senses." Kane grinned and said "I missed you, buddy." Venom grinned as he said "Me too, Kane." Kane laughed and hugged Elizabeth close to him as he shot another web, swinging through town.
Kane yelled "Spider-Man~ Venom's back! Hhahahahahah" before disappearing into the night, still excited from his kiss with Elizabeth, who mumbled "What a loser.." despite her words there was a small smile on her mouth.
Kane got back to his base and Venom receded. Kane pulled Elizabeth to the couch and laid down as he turned the TV on and sighed comfortably. Elizabeth fall onto his chest and turned red as she said "Bastard.."
Kane ignored her and covered her in the blanket before smiling like a fool and staring at the TV. Elizabeth sighed and rested her head on his chest, comfortably, thinking that it was nice to be like this.
Slowly the two fell asleep without interruptions.
The next morning
Elizabeth woke up, but couldn't move. Kane hugged her in his arms with a big smile on his face, drool dripping from the corner of his mouth. Elizabeth was aggrieved, this guy was too strong. She felt like she was in a vice grip, she sighed and just laid there, unable to do anything. In her heart, a warm feeling rose. This idiot liked herself a lot, it was obvious.
Elizabeth felt that he was a bit strange, it felt like he thought if he let go she would leave. She felt sad for Kane, what happened to him that he held her like this?
It wasn't actually, Kane doing this on purpose. In his mind, Elizabeth was someone special, not only had she notified Tony that he was captured, but she also went to get him a 'cure' for the Extremis that was causing his twisted schemes. To top it all off, she was even coming to break him out of the Icebox, not only that but she brought Venom with her.
Kane never had someone like that before, someone who would come to save you, no matter where you were. It made him feel warm and happy, he wanted to keep her around not only because he finally had someone who cared about him, but also because he cared about her. When she showed up with Tony, before he was arrested, and brought the 'cure' with her, she already left a mark in his heart.
When she was about to fight the police for him, the mark became more pronounced and when she showed up, saving him from the wreck, it was impossible to erase it.
Kane knew nothing about relationships but it shouldn't take a genius to know how to treat another person.
Kane woke up and looked around before seeing Elizabeth smiling at him, he let out a breath and smiled back before saying "You want breakfast?" Elizabeth wiped his drool and said "What are you making?" Kane said "Uh.. Pancakes?" Elizabeth nodded and Kane grinned before getting up, he was about to fold the blanket but he stopped and smiled goofily before walking to the kitchen humming to himself.
Elizabeth watched him with a smile before turning to the TV and watching the news.
A while later
Kane and Elizabeth finished eating. Kane went to the lab and started working on his collar, he called in Elizabeth and asked her to help him. She agreed and saw his lab for the first time, there were monitors, vials, metals, and a black suit with white glowing lights on it.
Elizabeth pointed at the suit and said "What is that?" Kane looked over and said "Black Lightning V1. It's supposed to be able to travel in space." Elizabeth was startled and said "Space? Why would you want to go into space?"
Kane said "Venom and I, want to go see Klyntar. It's the home of the Symbiotes." Elizabeth nodded and Kane said "Not surprised?" Elizabeth shrugged and said "So many aliens appearing now, nothing really surprises me anymore."
Kane chuckled and said "Fair enough, can you help me get this collar thing off? After, we'll go and relax for a while somewhere nice." Elizabeth smiled and helped him analyze the collar before dismantling it and removing it from his neck.
Elizabeth might not be as smart as Kane but she was still very smart and quick witted. Mostly towards fighting, but it could be applied to regular life as well.
Kane cracked his neck and said "Finally, that thing was awful." Elizabeth said "Where are we going?" Kane touched his nose and said "Where do you want to go?" Elizabeth said "Somewhere warm and sunny~"
Kane said "Italy?" Elizabeth rolled her eyes and said "How are we going to get to Italy?" Kane chucked and said "Megan, tell Reiner, Angel, and Chazz to continue as usual and that I'll be away for a while." Megan said "Okayyyyy~ I wish I could go to Italy.."
Kane chuckled and pulled his phone to his hands saying "You will, silly girl." before he put the phone in his pocket and scooped Elizabeth up, carrying her like a princess, as he walked out of the base. Elizabeth yelped and snapped "You big pervert! Give me a warning!"
Kane smiled wryly and retorted "They do it in the movies..." Elizabeth laughed and chided "This is real life! Not a movie." Kane said "I'll let you know, next time... You're shout was really cute though." Elizabeth turned red and opened her mouth to say something, when Kane grinned saying "Watch out." before shooting off into the sky.
Elizabeth held onto Kane tightly, wrapping her arms around his neck and burying her face into his chest. Kane chuckled and focused on controlling the electromagnetic forces around him, he remembered floating in the air the night he got arrested. If he could float then he could fly, right?
His theory proved to be correct, but he had no idea how long he could go like this. He definitely couldn't continue on forever he was sure of that. And so, with multiple stops and Elizabeth chiding him every time he stopped for pushing himself to hard, they finally arrived in Italy, a few days later.
