After the meeting with Katherine, Ethan was frustrated. He could not understand why he could not control this factor in his life. There was no need for Katherine to be involved with this but she was now insisting on getting added to this.

"Have you decided that you want to do this?" Ethan asked her. Still unable to understand why on earth she would want to do something like this. They were looking for a loophole in the will. She could leave this bizarre arrangement that his grandfather had made and live a peaceful life but she was hellbent on getting herself messed up too.

"I have already given you my answer, Ethan, "Katherine told him. "I had a talk with your grandfather's law firm. I found out that I got the letters from your grandfather because you had submitted your marriage license with them. Congratulations on your marriage."
