章 8: Chapter 8 BBO
Aiden's POV
What's happening to me? I can't forget how he smells when we're having dinner, it started when I came home from school
The house smells really sweet like a honey and it's getting stronger when the time passes
During dinner I found out that the smell came from Kyle who has been enduring the pain from his heat and to help him with it he needs to drink a suppressant
When they were explaining things to us, I can still smell him really well, it made me crazy and I almost wanted to jump at him which is I regretfully didn't do
They would kill me if I did, especially his brother Keith who acts like his father, he would kill me for sure
The way he looks at me suspiciously is making me self conscious it feels like I stole something from him, I left first when they were explaining about his conditions because his scent is getting stronger again, with him being around me I can't control my feelings especially now that he's in heat
I was on cloud nine knowing that we'll be staying at one house and now I am avoiding him so much that it feels like I haven't seen him for so many years but it's only been three days
Keith told me to go and hang out with his friends later which surprised me to a whole new level, Raymond will also be tagging along with me
"Are you ready to go?" Ray ask me, opening my door without knocking
"Go where? And I told you so many times to-" he cut me off
"Knock before entering, I know but, every time I do you never let me in and "go" to hang out with Keith" sitting on the sofa across my bed
"It's still too early to go" laying down on my bed
"Keith asked me to go and buy some things 'cause we're having a bonfire later" looking at his phone
"He asked you not me" we've been this close since birth
"Wrong, he asked me to tell you" speaking with hand gestures pointing to him then me
"Tsss fine, fine give me 5" shooing him out of my room
After an hour and a half we got all the things Keith told us to get "we're done, should we go now?" I irritatedly ask Ray
"Yes, yes, just a sec" running off to somewhere
'I'll be at the car, you better be quick' I hate waiting the most and he knows that
'Yeah, yeah' he linked back to me
He just got an ice cream, yeah really this guy made me wait because of ice cream, now we're off to the place where we hang out, it didn't take us long before we reach the right spot. It's a lake that's surrounded by trees and others are already swimming in the water some of them are prep'ing the bonfire
What surprised me was not the scenery but, a person, a person I've been avoiding for awhile now, he's here... our mate, my mate is here
Out of all the place where we could meet why here? I'm agitatedly anxious I don't know if I'm excited to see him or what
"Are you not going to get out and help me?" Ray ask me raising a brow "if you won't I'll drag you out literally, I'm serious"
"Ha! As if" but I got out anyway, what can I do? Drive away like I didn't see him? I want to impress his brother so, I can't do that
I helped Ray carry the ice box where we'll put the drinks later, I felt his eyes following me but didn't dare to look back at him, I know he must have been confused as I am but, I'm also glad he's here
"Thanks for buying all this" Keith said putting an arm around my neck
"No problem, thanks for inviting us" I replied
"It's no big deal, we're staying on the same roof and I'm supposed to look after you" walking away after grabbing some of the drinks
I glanced over to where Kyle's sitting before but he's nowhere to be found "Look for him you idiot!" Gray said spitefully
"What do you think I'm doing? Big ass" I retorted back
I am frantically looking for him, where did he go? Then I saw his friend, was it Caleb?
"Hey, Caleb.." I started
"Y-yeah?" Is he uncomfortable with me?
"Where's.. Kyle? You've been with him right?" Thinking twice, should I really be asking him?
"K-Kyle went to the re-restroom" he really is uncomfortable with me
"Thanks!" Walking away from him
I've been to the restroom but he's not there, did he leave right before I came? No, I didn't smell his scent in the restroom but,
I can smell a faint sweet honey scent around the corner where the trees were so, to feed my curiosity I followed the smell and surprisingly it's getting stronger, in front of me I reached a big tree where the smell is pretty strong
I walk past the tree and there he was leaning over the tree, his back pressed against it and breathing heavily
