Stella would have been elated if this was some other time. But now, all she felt was insecurity. 

Calhoun had marked her. She was his mate. They had known each other for years. But never had his beast coorperated with Calhoun.

How could it suddenly become complacent as soon as Isabella returned? How can his dragon bend to Isabella rather than her?

She didn't like this course of happenings at all. 

Pixel noticed the change in the princess's mood and spoke. "Why aren't you happy about it. Seems like he will be no more a useless prince. The crown princess's return seems to have brought luck to him."

That last statement irked Stella a lot. She took a deep breathe not to lash out at her pixie. Silently, she walked to her bed and laid down silently.

The pixie shrugged and started looking for the honey pot in the room.

Stella tried to calm down, but the more she stayed quite, the more she became anxious about things.
