章 4: Chapter 3: The Beginning part 1

it has been several weeks since Ben had arrived in this strange new world, in that time he had made reconnaissance and information gathering, and that had led him to find some interesting facts about this place.
As he suspected, this place had a monarchy that had ruled it, the monarch's name was king Randor, and from what Ben could tell, he was a good and noble leader to the people of Eternia. The queen was named Marlena, other then getting on the service information on her, she was a complete mystery, almost like she came out of nowhere.
As for the prince, Ben had heard all sort of rumors about him, most of them contradicted each other but the most consistent one was that he was always late, for like everything, every social event the king and queen had arranged. all in all, Ben had thought that he was not so different from any other celebrity in Ben's world.
On other matters, Ben had used the Azmuth A.I to teach himself the written language in this place, so that he wouldn't become too dependent on it just in case the omnitrix will decide to mellfunction.
Then there was the diamond neckless thing that he thought would be a one and done deal, but was surly mistaken, after giving Ralvenor that Diamond neckless, the merchant had kept hounding him for more, he even went as far as asking him where he had gotten his hands on these diamonds and the neckless itself, eventually ben had enough and he decided to do something about it, and start to set up a plan.
One night he had sneaked out of the capital and using Jetray he had flown above the forest and the mountains looking around, until finally he had found the perfect spot. After he had landed he had tapped the hourglass symbol on his chest and with a flash of green he had transformed. he is replaced with a yellow ten-feet-tall alien with an armored, robotic-like body. His head is similar to a Greek Corinthian helmet with two ears on it, giving him the appearance of an armadillo. The alien also has a Gray tail and jackhammer parts on his elbows, wrists and hands, creating the impression that he is a digging robot.
"Armordrillo!" the alien shouts his name, then he gets close to the mountain and raised both of his arms, his hands are becoming more drill like as his fingers are contracted to a point. Then he starts to drill his way inside the mountain, he drilled several tunnels inside of the mountain. when he was done, he tapped his chest yet again, and with a flash of green light had turned into Swampfire , he had grown several trees, he had cut them Into several wooden support beams, after that he had placed them inside the tunnels that he had made. Then when the tunnels' integrity was secure he finishes by turning to the alien that had started this issue.
"Diamondhead!" then he had put his hand on one of the walls and starts to focus, no sooner then that he can feel it starting to work, it was growing inside of the walls, the ceiling and even at some places the ground, he had made it so it will grow all the way through the tunnels he had Dugged out, the Petrosapien's crystals had now made several veins that had went all the way inside the mountain. Diamondhead had stepped back, reviewing his handy work, in a matter of two hours he had made an entirely new mine just using his aliens, but to make it convincing, he still had one other thing he needed to do.
After selling that diamond neckless, Ben had plenty of money, so he had used a small amount of it to purchase some old and discarded electrical equipment, but also some more standard issue stuff, turning back to ben he had a bag on his side, it was connected with a strap like a sash.
He took the bag off of him and set it down on the ground, then he had sycled through the Omnitrix and selected his alien.
After the flash had died down in his place stood a small, red skinned, gremlin looking alien that had aviator looking outfit to him.
"Jurryrigg!" the alien had called out his name, then his sight was set on the pile of technology that was Infront of him. "Fix! Fix! Fix! Fix!" the alien began cackling like mad while his hands had begun to reassemble the technology into something utterly different. When he was done instead of scrap metal, Infront of him was now 10 brand new mining equipment, specially made to be able to mine the crystals in the mine's veins.
After he is done, he initiates the next part of this plan, he flies back to the capital and looks for the one person he needs. After he lands in an alley and transforms back, His legs take him to a the less savory area of the city, the place is filled with all unfortunate types of people, beggars, thieves and mercenaries of all types.
Then his eyes lands on the one he was looking for, he was sitting there with other beggars, his hand outstretched and he says to each passerby "please sir I am hungry, need money for food, I'm willing to work for it please..."
Ben's heart had hurt from seeing this, even in his old world, he couldn't stand seeing homeless people and would always try to help as much as he could. He makes his way to the man and say, "hello there Durac!" the man's eyes looks at him and he said "ahh it is the generous man!" he said with a smile to Ben, remembering the food Ben had gave him the other day, when he did Ben had asked him if he would be interested in a possible job opportunity, he said that if he had one then to talk to him when it comes, not before when it is just a theory, but he also said that if he did have one to look for him in this alley.
And that what had led him back here, he had looked him in the eyes and said, "do you remember the offer I had made to you last time I was here?"
The beggar nodded his head and said, "yes, and do you remember what I had to tell you?" Ben had given him a big smile and say, "actually, this is precisely why I came here today."
"Oh? Do tell..."
"you'll have to come with me to find out more, and about the other thing we had talked about..."
Durac gave him a look and said, "if you are serious about this I know where we can find several people looking for work."
"I am."
"Then master Tennyson, come with me."
After he gets up from his place, he leads Ben to a place where several people are sitting by the fire, Durac gets their attention by whistling and when they look at him, he smile and say, "boys, do you remember what had I talked to you about?"
One of the homeless beggars looks at him and say, "yeah, you said you might get us some work, but you said it might be a cruel joke, so well, what is it?"
"don't worry, it is the real deal, and to prove it, I had brough the man who offered it to us."
He then points at Ben and say, "this is master Tennyson, and he will explain everything we need to know of his plan."
Then he gives Ben the floor who takes it sand starts to explain his plan to the homeless bunch, when he is done everybody around the fire is deadly quiet. Eventually one of the beggars asks, "would you really do this for us?"
Ben nods his head but then the homeless beggar from before asks, "I don't understand, what's the catch?"
Ben shakes his head saying, "no catch, all you have to do is have that place working, and don't worry if you worry about not knowing how to operate these machines, I am sure you will learn fast enough."
It takes him a few minutes before he says, "ok then, we are at your disposal, master Tennyson."
It took ben a few tries to teach them how to operate the mining equipment, but eventually they had gotten the jist of it, then he had taken Durac to the capital, there he had took out several paperwork and he had shown him where to sign, and when they were dore Ben had told him, "Congratulation Mr. Durac, you are now officially the proud owner of the Petro diamonds mines."
Durac was stunned at this and just asked, "wait what? What did I just sign on?"
Then he saw it, it was a deed for the mountain that the mine was in it now, and right now it was him name on the deed, he gave Ben a look at which he just laughed and said, "don't worry, all the other parts are taken care of, I paid all the right places, this is totally legal, now I'm giving you a heads up, in a few days, I will come a long with a merchant, the story is if he asks, you had given me a Petro diamond neckless a few days back as salary for working in your mines, do you understand?"
The 'former' beggar had nodded his head so fast, Ben had feared he will strain it.

Several days later Ben had knocked on Ralvenor's door, when the merchant had opened it and saw Ben he had said, "ahh mr Tennyson... finally you show up in my store once again, I was beginning to think you were avoiding me." He said with a sarcastic tone, knowing full well that Ben did exactly that, but Ben had only put on the best fake smile he could and said, "why, whatever do you mean ralvenor?" he asked in the sincerest voice he could muster. "I was only trying to help you get a lot more of the diamonds that I had gotten you before, and that my dear friend takes time."
He could tell that Ralvenor was not buying this, so he quickly added, "actually this is why I came to you today, if you are not busy, how about you and I are going to take a little trip?"
"Oh?" Ralvenor asked with a raised brow.
It took them several hours on mount's back, but they finally had reached the mines, once they had gotten there they were greeted by Durac in the entrance of the mine.
After they had dismounted, Ben had turned towards Durac and said "Durac! How have you been my friend?" he then gestures towards Ralvenor and says, "this is the merchant I had been telling you about, the one that is interested in selling your diamonds." Ben saw the merchant giving the now miner a look up and down, luckily ben had fed him and the rest and had them wash up and also gave them better clothes, so all in all he was pretty confident that this will work.
Then Ralvenor had his hand forward and said, "Ralvenor, pleasure to meet you, Durac... was it?" after seeing the man nods, he then said, "well, if you wouldn't mind... is it ok for you to give me a little background on this place?"
Durac gave him a big smile and said, "certainly, you see here in the mine..." he then proceeded to give him a detailed an elaborated explanation on the mines and how they operated. All lies of course, rehearsed just for this very occasion, and conceived by Ben himself. The merchant had asked questions, and the miner had given answers, and when the day was over, Ralvenor and Durac had formed a contract, the deal was that Durac and his people would work the mines for the Petro diamonds and will give them to the merchant to be properly worked on, and they will split the profits 50/50.
A very lucrative deal for both sides.
On there way back to the capital, Ralvenor had thanked Ben and said, "MR Tennyson, you don't understand how much I am in your debt in this moment, after you had sold me that diamond neckless, a noblemen's wife happened upon my shop, and after buying it, she had told all her friends who have been inquiring ever since, especially with the prince's birthday coming up soon. Surly you had saved my skin my friend."
Ben had smiled at that and said, "think nothing of it my friend." But then he remembered something, while he had set this scheme that wouldn't had shamed Kevin or even Argit to motion, he almost had drained his money that Ralvenor had given him for the neckless, so he added, "while helping a friend is all well and good, I was wondering if there would also be a middleman fee."
The merchant at first just gave him a look that said 'really?' but then he smiled and said while reaching his hand to his money bag and said, "of course, and I hope you will be considering working more with me in the future?"
He handed Ben the bag full of money, and he just smiled while taking it saying, "we'll see, right now I don't know what I will do in the future, but it is definitely an option."
It was late morning when Ben had woken up, it was a few weeks after he made the introduction between Durac and Ralvenor, and now last he checked, the merchant had so much money coming his way, and just like he said, every noblewoman in the Kingdome had wanted a piece of jewelry either made with or out of Petro diamonds, now they were all the rage.
He thought a bout going to the market today, there was something he wanted to check out, when he had gotten out of the inn he was staying at, he saw that the capital was not as guarded as before, but then he remembered, today was the price's birthday so probably most of the guards were at the palace keeping an eye on it.
He had made several steps towards the marketplace when a massive earthquake had hit the area, Ben had frozen in his place and looked around franticly, his mind already going on instinct, he was in enough disaster zones that were hit by earthquakes to know what he most do, he was about to activate the omnitrix when the earthquake suddenly had stopped.
Ben had looked around, looking to see if anyone was hurt, he spend the next hour doing that while also waiting for the after shock. After he saw that it never came, he went to see Ralvenor, it took him a few minutes but then he saw him, but the sight that greeted him had stopped him in his tracks.
Ralvanor was being held by his pits by a giant metal claw, that claw was connected to a cyborg who on his organic side had bluish gray skin, he had a reddish metal jaw and the skin on his face was colored green. Next to him stood two other figures. One was a giant of a man, had orange brown fur, with bony curved spikes coming out of his back, he had a brown mane from under his head and ended just under his rib cage.
And the other person was a little harder to make out, all Ben could see was that he was wearing a dark purple hooded robe that had covered his face and most of his body, and he was staring directly at Ralvenor while he was struggling in the claw and said, "ugh, eee, gahh ahh!"
"Where is it?" the one clad in purple asked.
"Please! I-I am just a merchant, I don't know what you -aaggh!" he was cut off when the claw began to squeeze harder on him, blocking his airway.
Ben saw the robed figure move away a little and asked him, "the hall of wisdom, where is it?" he then gestures with his hand to the marketplace and say with barely contained rage, "it stood here on this very ground."
But before Ralvenor can answer, Ben finally decides to make his move, with a flash of green light, he is replaced with a tall, red skinned four-armed bipedal alien, it has two sets of eyes in his head, four fingered hands and it wears black pants, green boots, his hair is tied in a pony tail and it has a black and green armor on him. The omnitrix symbol is located on the shoulder plate to his left.
"Four arms!" the alien exclaims before he rushes over to three figures holding the merchant and says, "hay! What'd you think you're doing? Let him go, now."
He finishes the last part by cracking all the knuckles in his four hands, the big fury one had just looked at him and sneered, "oh yeah?" it asked in an almost animalistic snarl, "and who's going to make us, you four-armed freak?"
"it's MR four arms to you." The tetramaned quipped while raising all four of his fists in a fighting pose.
However, before he and the big furry guy could go at it, the robed man had raised a hand and said, "there will be no need of that, stand down Beast-man."
He then turned towards the cyborg and said, "release him Trap-jaw."
The cyborg did just that and the merchant was now gasping for air, coughing and panting on the floor, the hooded figure came close to him and whispered, "now, if you don't want to do that again, you better tell me what I want to know."
Through coughing the merchant had said, "*cough* *cough* it disappeared, *cough* *cough* years ago, *cough* one day it was here then it vanished!"
Then after his coughing had died down, he added, "I thought everyone had known that already."
Before the man in purple could question him some more, four arms had intervened, "you see? He knows nothing, now get out of here before we have a problem."
He said the last part glaring at the one who he now knew was called Beast-man. Before Beast one could retort, the hooded figure had just said, "enough! We have what we came for, let us be off." He finished as he had turned around, and ben could have heard him muttering something about 'the council of elders'.
When they were out of sight ben had turned his attention back to Ralvenor, the merchant was slowly catching his breath, he then asked him, "are you all right Ralvenor?"
The merchant had then began to say, "Y-Yes, thank yo-" then he had stopped and asked, "how did you know my name?"
Ben mentally kicked himself for this, in all the excitement he had forgotten that Ralvenor had never seen him in any alien form. Let alone he didn't told him about this ability and he acted on instinct.
He had contemplated what to do, until finally he sighed and decided to do it quick.
He had tapped the dial on his shoulder, and in a flash of green, Ben was back in his human form, dressed in his eternian clothes.
The merchant's eyes widen when he saw him, and he asked, B-Ben? How could this be?"
Before he could answer however, alarms started to blare, while in the distance Ben could see smoke rising from the palace, one royal guard had run to the area shouting, "all guards to the royal palace! We are under attack! I repeat we are under attack!"
Ben's eyes widen and he had looked at the merchant and said, "later." As he ran off towards the place, cycling through his watch while doing so.
A/N, so things are getting heated in the Kingdome of Eternia, now I am sorry it took me so long to update this story, I had so much other things on my mind, including writing other fanfiction stories, but also this is the first and only crossover fan-fiction story of it's kind on the internet (ben 10 & she ra fics don't count), so it's not like I had a template story to copy or something like that. So this story line will be the 2002 reboot, melded with some elements from the original tv show and from the comics as well, however, I will not, I repeat, will not be taking any elaments from revelation since it is a woke atrocity remake of the series, so in my opinion, it is not canon what so ever.
Side note, Ben will have eternian alien forms, based on life forms from the all the cartoons in this story, so feel free to name his forms and let me know who we are talking in the comments.)
