章 22: Having Fun

(I finished this chapter at around 2am and I was so tired that i posted the draft for the next chapter! So sorry so here's the actual chapter enjoy)

It was a good night I already had more than enough money from everyone, not even counting the tips. You would think that serving and making food would be boring but it isn't that bad.

The kids will be waking eventually as it's barely 4am and I still don't know what to do with them. Should I send them on their way with some money or should I let them stay? Each has their pros and cons but either way they're too cute to send away without anything.

Besides if I give them money it'll probably get stolen as they are only children who can't really defend their self. If I give them something to protect themselves with I don't think they are responsible enough to have a sword or something like that anyway.

I didn't even know why I was debating with myself as I already new the answer, I couldn't turn them away. If I was going to let them stay there was one main problem which was space.

There wasn't a lot of place in the building that are fit for children to play in. However using my magic I could infinitely expand the building but I still have to think of where to put it and what to put in it. I decided to make the room on the upper floor next to my room so they aren't out of reach.

Then I teleported there entire basement/slash bedroom with them still asleep into the space. I then added a playroom with some toys like model planes and cars. Then I made basically a entire jungle gym for them. Since I can do anything I made a replica of the a grassy field with a sky, clouds, and even a sun that I could actually feel the heat of.

I also added a few trees that looked like they were made to be climbed because they were. For finishing touches I made a pool that was the perfect temperature which I feel like is impossible without magic. After I was done I had a thought, could I make a living organism? I have made plenty of organic matter like meat and fruits but not a breathing animal.

To test my theory I tried to make a flock of birds that would look pretty and also be kind so that the children could play with them. I held my hand out and then about 30 birds flew into the sky. They resembled a crow but they were way more colorful and prettier than any other normal one.

They then went into the trees to perch and surprisingly started singing beautiful song. After listening to them for a while with my new knowledge I realized I had to make a ecosystem so they wouldn't starve so I made worms, fruit and vegetables, weather, and many other insects and animals which all looked otherworldly.

I Purposely though very vaguely of what they would all look like which made the results very interesting. There were green slim lizards that were the same side as a golden retriever with silky scales that loved to be pet. Then there a animal that looked like a wolf with zebra stripes on their back half.

Animals filled the space and after counting, filled the 10 square mile area. I think I may have had a little too much fun in what was originally a small play area so I made it so that the two were separated to safety reasons. Even if I made them to be nice you can never know what could happen.

Before I went to have some more fun playing god I left in order to stop myself and to be there when the kids woke up so that they wouldn't worry. I'm excited to see there face when they learn of all the new things they'll have.

If my child self had woken up to this I would have ether passed out or my heart would've exploded. Getting a puppy on Christmas would hold nothing on this! The hardest part for me is not going in there to wake them up and immediately showing them.

It's been a few hours and I have everything prepared. I went downstairs and made them breakfast and kept them warm while eagerly waiting for them. a minute or two later a heard a bunch of footsteps and a lot of whoas from realizing they have a door and not a hatch along with the relocation.

Before they got lost I yelled that it was breakfast time and went upstairs to help guide them all down. As always they enjoyed their breakfast. Today I made them French toast sticks with grits and hash browns with a cup of milk.

Unlike last time some of them ate at a slower but still speedy pace. Hopefully that means that they are getting used to being here with a abundance of food. After they all finish there food it was time to start the big reveal.

"Now that you guys are all done follow me. I have a surprise!" There faces just from that made me even more excited than before. Some were excited like me, and others looked a little hesitant. No matter there facial expression they all had one thing in common, there were stars glittering in their eyes.

"What is it?!" one of them said trying to hold on their anticipation. "I couldn't tell you or else it wouldn't be a surprise now would it?" With that I walked up the stairs with them following behind me probably thinking of the treasure or in some cases, cake they were about to be shown.

Finally I got to the door and then opened I and allowed they in. There faces were filled with pure joy when they saw everything. After all it must have felt like looking into another world. Maybe a few of them thought it was a illusion or a dream.

It was all real though, and the fun they had was too. They split of into little groups and talk ing amongst themselves about how cool it all was. The ones in the playroom had found the toys and were learning how to use their imagination in play.

The ones on the playground with the jungle gym were having a blast as they tried a swing for the first time. I had to teach them as I was the only pro, but it didn't take long before they got the had of it and were trying to swing to the moon.

Then there were the ones in the nature area. The more calm and mellow kids were laying on the grass soaking in the sun with their eyes closed. Then the other half were already half way up a tree having fun and taking in the view. I made it so it is impossible for them to get hurt in this space so they'll be ok.

Funnily enough the pool was the only one unoccupied out of all things. To be fair though they don't have any swimsuits and they probably don't no how to swim either as the grew up in the city their entire lives.

I then walked around and checked on everyone to make sure everything was ok and to see what they thought about my present. Like you would expect they all talk about how awesome it was. They all were enjoying themselves which couldn't make me happier.

When I finished doing my rounds I went towards the pool to soak my feet in. However when I got close I saw something I didn't expect, a single kid sitting on the edge of the shallow end with her feet in the water.

She looked pretty shy but she seemed to be enjoying herself simply by touching the water.

"You seem to be enjoying yourself" I said with a smile. "Oh! Yes sir it's nice" she said in a timid voice.

"If you're enjoying it that much you should go in." I said trying to encourage her.

"But sir, I don't know how to swim, I'm fine" while she said that with a smile you could see her eyes longing to be in the water. Even if she couldn't swim she still could stand in the shallow end without being in any danger. She's just doesn't have enough faith in yourself.

"You should try, please! For me." I said with kittens eyes or at least that was what I thought I was making. Either way it landed a critical hit and she decided to give it a try

I held her hand as she was a little scared and hesitant but nothing happened. After getting used to it I decided to completely close off the deep end for the safety of everyone's lungs. I then made here some pool noodles and a floaty for her to play with. She then began to have the time of here life while I sat on the side and watched.

Even though my fur got a little wet, it was worth it.
