The demon lord didn't even bother glancing at the man who was bowing down for him to the point were his face was in the dirt. It was only natural that he did so why should he acknowledge it. Besides even if he didn't he would lose his life.
The demon lord walked forward and glared at the people who were tied to the post. They reached numbers of up to 50. Some of them were not part of the rebels but they were family of the rebels. They had been warned and now they were to pay the price. They and their families were going to die now.
He raised his arm and moved it horizontally across the air. A terrifyingly large slash of black energy came from his hand. It moved faster than lightning as it cut everyone on the posts into two equal pieces like a kit kat.
Even after the giant slash had cut every every single person in half it continued moving. It moved forward until finally it was confronted by a mountain. The mountain stood no chance at all as it was split into two and the top half was sent flying upwards. The bottom crumpled as soon as the top part came crashing down. The sound it made was even louder and more terrifying than thunder.
The tremors it caused were similar to a large scale earthquake. All of this was overkill and unnecessary.
The small one winged was named Damon. His meager little brain could not even comprehend what had just happened. The difference in strength between the two could not even calculated. He didn't even know that such a thing was possible. His mind was blown away.
The demon lord balled his fist. "That has not done me any good Damon, why am I still anxious?"
'I don't know, I can't read your mind. I'm not some kind of therapist.' That is what he wanted to say but he knew better than to let his thoughts be known.
"Just what exactly is causing this?" the demon lord asked.
"I'm guessing it's probably little foolish brother of mine." a voice came from behind him. The voice was the type to stop one's heart.
The demon lord turned around and saw another demon. It was the demon that Damien had released from the scarecrow. The only difference was that this time his wings were larger and he wore clothes. The clothes he wore were the type that demon nobility wore. He had a sword placed on his hip.
"Brother Azriel..." The demon lord said. Those were the last words he spoke before the two of them lunged at each other. Their collision created a huge shockwave which destroyed the ground they stood on. The clouds parted revealing the bright sunlight.
Damon and the gaurd were instantly vaporized just from the clash the two had.
"You are stupid little brother of mine." Azriel said as he grabbed his brother by the throat and squeezed. "Did you think you could get rid of me Kollin?"
Kollin gathered Hyoksi into his arm fully coating it and hit Azriel in his elbow which made him release him. "I'll get rid of you now!" he said. He flapped his wings and flew into the sky. Azriel quickly followed him into the sky. This was going to be an event that would change everything. This battle would change the climate, the relationships between kingdoms and species and most importantly the power balance in the world.

I had just delivered the potions to Janice at 7 o'clock. The store was filled just like yesterday. Even that weirdo from yesterday showed up. He tried following me but my tentacles made quick work of him. They wrapped themselves around him and his bodyguards and threw him far away.
As soon as I sat down in my car I felt a tremor. The tremor was pretty powerful and I looked out of my window. People who were walking were falling down, birds took to the sky and animals no matter whether it was mouse or a giant dog they made noises and tried getting to higher grounds. They jumped on benches, climbed buildings and even trees.
Something was going on. What was it? I had read the novel and there was definitely not something like this mentioned anywhere. If this was the case then it was probably just a normal earthquake. A giant earthquake but nothing that big.
I started my car engine and headed back home. I needed to put my theory to test. If it was correct then I would be able to create something that was unique to me. I would grow stronger and take another step forward.

Inside a giant castle which was adorned with the most luxurious decorations imaginable sat a woman. She sat on a giant throne which nearly reached the ceiling. Minerals of nearly every kind was on the throne. Rubies, emeralds, opals, sapphires and even some unidentifiable minerals.
Her eyes were closed which created this picture of a sleeping beauty. She had long ears, a face as beautiful as the moon and skin even more delicate than silk. The garments on her body were woven out of the highest quality attainable.
This beautiful woman was the elf queen. Her name was Melinda. She opened one of her eyes before letting out a sigh. She tapped her throne armrest in a hurriedly manner. The tremors in the ground were disturbing her.
She stood up revealing her full figure. She glanced at all the frozen men who had been turned into wood.
"Why is he back?" she whispered. "Did you not say that Azriel was dead Kollin?" she whispered into the air as if she was expecting an answer. She then sat back down on her throne before closing her eyes once again.
