Aloy suppressed her discomfort and looked at Lear with a smile. "Uncle, don't lie to me. Where's the new spirit beast you just tamed?"
Lear pretended not to know anything and looked around. "My good niece, you must have made a mistake. Don't you already know what spirit beasts I'm using?"
"Oh, really? Did I make a mistake just now?" Aloy pretended to frown in confusion.
"You must be mistaken!" Lear said with certainty from the side. "My good niece, don't think too much. Come with me, let's get out of this wormhole first."
At this point, Lear's heart ached as he held Aloy's hand.
"Look at you, you entered the wormhole in such a hurry. You didn't even bring a crystal. You'll easily get lost in the wormhole like this."
"Let go!" With a cold face, Aloy struggled to break free from Lear's hand. "I remember the way back. I can go back by myself!"
"Is that so?" Lear sneered as he looked at Aloy.
The author has been using 妖兽 (yāo shòu, demonic beasts) and 异兽 (yì shòu, exotic beasts) interchangeably for quite a few chapters now, with 异兽 gaining more frequency. At first, I assumed 异兽 was a typo because you can type Chinese phrases by just inputting the first consonant letters and the suggestions would figure out the rest. But I also have a feeling that when these more dangerous wormholes first appeared, the first-generation monsters were exotic beasts, and then the next wave would be the more evolved demonic beasts. It could also be that 妖兽 was the typo and the author meant to use 异兽 back in chapter 5. We'll just have to wait and see.
