VALENCIA'S POV

My body was too stiff. That was the first thought that crossed my head as soon as I regained consciousness.

"Hey, she is waking up," I heard a familiar voice and it didn't take long for my brain to register that it belonged to none other than Alpha Maverick. 

The events of what happened before I passed out flooded my head and I sighed inwardly, trying my best to open my eyes.

That masked man, those eyes, that voice, they looked so familiar that I almost confused him with the man of my memories, the one I saved. But how could it be the case? 

If he was the one, he would've surely recognized me, no? I wasn't wearing a mask either. 

'Aurora, are you okay?' I asked my wolf who was lying in my head space with a peaceful expression on her face.

'I am fine and I am proud of you, Valencia. I am glad that the moon goddess reincarnated me inside a strong human like you,' Aurora said.
