Darkness surrounded me, and I couldn't see anything. I tried to move, but my body wouldn't budge.
Panic started to set in as I realized I couldn't remember anything. Who was I? Where was I? What was happening to me?
Suddenly, a bright light appeared, and I could see the outline of a figure. As it approached me, I could see that it was a man.
He was dressed in a glow white gown and had a gentle smile on her face.
"How are you, my child?" the mysterious man asked.
"Where have I been, and why don't I remember anything?" I replied.
"Oh, you don't remember anything. Wait a minute, now you will remember this," the mysterious man said as he lightly touched my Head.
As memories flooded my mind, I felt a sharp pain in my head. "Oh, my head is hurting so much.
Avi, have you remembered everything? How are you?" the mysterious man asked.
"Yes, I have remembered who I am. My name is Avi, and I used to study science at a foreign college. While I was studying, I died due to a blast in a science experiment," I explained.
At the time of the blast, my head was torn, which is why I couldn't remember anything.
But if I died, what am I doing here? Is this heaven? Have I come to heaven?" Avi asked.
"This is not heaven; this is the border between two worlds," the mysterious man explained.
"You must remember that the experiment you participated in was conducted on a different dimension. Due to the twisting of space-time fabric, an explosion occurred, killing you and anyone who was with you.
The location where the experiment was conducted was also destroyed in the blast."
"Are those people here too?" Avi asked.
"No, those people went through the Life Cycle after death. When someone dies, their soul enters a cycle of reincarnation, where they are reborn into different creatures before becoming human again. But you didn't. When the space-time fabric was changing, your head was blasted, and your soul ended up here at the border of two worlds, also known as the third world," the mysterious man explained.
"This world seems empty. Who are you, then?" I questioned.
"I am what you humans call a God, but you may address me as Dada; I prefer it to 'God,'" he replied.
"You are God?" Avi asked.
"Yes, I am God, but you can call me Dada," the mysterious man replied. "I don't like being called 'God.'"
After my conversation with Dada, I learned that I had died in a science experiment gone wrong. But instead of going to heaven, my soul had ended up in the third world, a place without time or space, where I was nothing more than a wandering spirit. Avi contemplated.
I had so many questions. Was there any way for me to leave and move on to the afterlife? But before I could ask Dada any more questions, he spoke up.
"You must misunderstand that you are not dead, Avi. Your body may have died, but your spirit is still alive," Dada explained.
"But if I am alive, then why am I stuck here in this third world? Is there any way for me to move on?" Avi asked, hoping for a way out of this strange place.
Dada seemed to sense Avi's despair. "Do not worry, Avi. I will help you find a way out of the third world."
I felt a glimmer of hope at Dada's words. Maybe there was a way out of this strange, timeless world after all, Avi thought.
The mysterious man, who Avi now referred to as Dada, presented him with two choices. Avi was hesitant and confused. He didn't know what to choose. He wanted to go back to his world, but he was also intrigued by the idea of going to another world and fighting demons.
Dada sensed Avi's hesitation and said, "Think carefully, Avi. Going back to your world means returning to the cycle of rebirth. It is peaceful there, but there is no adventure. On the other hand, going to the other world means facing danger, but it also means that you will have a purpose."
Avi took a deep breath and thought for a moment. He realized that he was not ready to leave this world yet. He wanted to experience more and make a difference. So, he made his decision.
"I want to go to the other world, Dada," Avi said, determination in his voice.
Dada smiled and said, "I knew you would choose the adventurous path. Now, let me explain to you what you need to do."
Dada explained to Avi that the other world was vastly different from his own. The demons, monsters, and mysterious powerful creatures, unlike anything he had ever seen, were powerful and could only be defeated by humans with magic powers and internal energy. He also told Avi that he would need to find a way to use magic and internal energy.
With all this information in mind, Avi was ready to embark on his journey.
When he opened his eyes, he found himself in a different world. The sky was blue, and he felt a strange energy in the air. He knew that he was in a different place.
At this moment, Avi was in the sky, still in his ethereal form. He took a deep breath and marveled at the world around him.
"Wow, what a world this is. The air is so refreshing," Avi exclaimed.
However, a thought struck him.
"Why am I still in this form? According to Dada, I should have become a living person by now," Avi wondered aloud.
Suddenly, he felt a powerful force pulling at him, as if someone or something was calling him.
"What is this? It's like someone is calling me," Avi muttered as he felt himself being drawn toward that mysterious force.
*********
As for the 18-year-old boy with a fair complexion and black hair in a small apartment in Delhi Noida City, Veer, he rubbed his forehead, still experiencing a dull ache from hitting his head on the table the previous night. He couldn't shake the feeling that something was amiss. Even his own name felt uncertain. Was he Avi, or was he Veer? It was as though the memories of two different lives were battling for control of his mind.
