Enzo’s eyes opened in apparent surprise, but he said, “Of course, you’re welcome, bro. Keith would never say no to family. You might even be pressed into helping. They’re expecting a big crowd.”
“Giuseppe and Alberto have been there. Even Mama, Uncle, Aunt Rosalia, and Aunt Angelina went. I had to work the night of the shower for Carlo and Jack, but I’m off Sunday and Monday this week, so I can help with the move and go to the party.”
Enzo nodded but kept giving his brother quizzical looks for the rest of the evening.
It was decided that all the furniture would go in storage, and Gray would fill the boxes Bobby said he’d bring with anything that Genevieve or Gray would need at Enzo’s. All of the clothes would be moved on hangers, and the contents of the bedroom drawers carefully packed, one drawer to a box. Everyone left at eight in consideration of Genevieve.
