章 111: Synergy II

Streaks of purple lightning flashed as Isaac flapped his wings and weaved through the Forest at great speeds.

"You're mine!"

"Isaac, look out!"

A purple skin young man holding a polearm appeared from Isaac's right side. He was wearing similar clothes with the young man he just eliminated from the Tournament. They looked the same as well, Race-wise of course.

The young man was wreathed in lightning, especially his feet. He moved fast, so fast that he could match Isaac in his fastest form.

The young man swung the polearm at Isaac.

'I can't maneuver. Valentine who is on my back will be hit or be thrown off. With the speed these pursuers of mine are doing, they will catch her and eliminate her or at worst kill her.'

It was fast as a bolt of lightning and Isaac reacted by abruptly halving his speed by flapping his wings backward. Isaac stopped and stood face to face with the polearm a meter away from him. A split second would all it takes for it to hit his skin and break a bone.
