probably the worst novel, mc makes ridiculous choices. like tell the one who betrayed you that you're now a duke heir, literally just procrastinating everything. characters are irritating and 1-D. seems like the good reviews are bought for clickbait
Guys, run. It's soap opera! SOAP. If you are fancy watching Magnificent Century, Twilight etc. with your gf - it hits the mark. All tropes : amnesia, misunderstandings, poor to rich in one swoop. My frustration is immeasurable.
Not really mich to add as the novel itself is incredible. nice plotline , character development and the writing itself is amazing. Only reason im writing a review is bcuz this novel deserves more clout

You're gonna love it as much as how you will love the view if you're on the top floors of Burf Khalifa > The characters have their own charm and I really love how they feel so alive and distinct > You will be entertained as the comedy is just hilarious and very creative of its delivery > The plot makes you want to know more of the backstory, so its not quite boring and predictable Cons: > The writing quality can make someone, whose English is not their strong suit, have a bit of a hard time understanding the texts. So I suggest you best prepare yourselves > I was disappointed since the MC, who was blessed to have OP magical powers, not use it quite often or even flex it. > If you lean more on action, fighting, and murder, then this novel is might not be for you as this mostly focus on face-slapping, verbal battles, and politics. I expected that there be more fighting but I guess I was wrong. But if you guys don't mind, then go ahead > Was looking forward for the whole setting of the story explaining the parts of the empire and other neighboring lands, but I guess the author didn't dwell into that All in all, a superb novel to read that will not waste your precious time but will just left you continue reading it until you caught up to the current chapters. A wonderful starting! Hope it continues and the author does justice to the characters.
I won't sugarcoat it - this is a romcom. I was surprised to see this in ML, BUT I like it. The title/synopsis can be misleading, don't expect any action or truly villainous plots, this is very romance centered and funny..BUT incredibly well written, with engaging characters - the world so far lacks depth but otherwise it's a real good read - IF you like romance. Which I guess I do now? I have some soul-searching to do. Anyway, definitely worth a read!
I was looking for a villain novel and when I saw this novel with #villain tag my hopes got up only to be crashed with a pathetic and way more pathetic MC, author you wasted my time, you should have wrote in the synopsis that this novel contains a pathetic and gay MC, I wouldn't have wasted my time like this😮💨
A gem of a book, was mildly surprised by the quality of it. could use a bit more action. but overall 5/5

I am really liking the flow and world development of this story! the writing style is amazing too! I am loving the characters and how real they feel. They all seem to have depth so far!
Trust me this IS PERFECTION, the start is slow god is very slowly and frustrating, infuriating even but God it's worth, i would say that 75 is when you notice that the snow ball is finally completely rolling 10/10(the beginning is so frustrating)
