章 36: Chapter 36: Selfish

Grayson lets his body calm down before walking back to his car. His mind, however, was a very different story.

He was fuming. If Jude thinks he could get away with doing this over and over again, he had another thing coming. He couldn't believe he kept letting him get away with this.

What was going through Jude's mind? One second he was telling him how badly he wanted this, wanted Grayson, and the next, he was running away again.

Why would he go through the effort of explaining where his head was at and still not letting Grayson decide if it's what he wanted?

Grayson was humiliated. He couldn’t bear to come crawling back to Jude after that. He tries to get some sleep, hoping that time will calm him down.

It does not.

He tosses and turns, watching the minutes pass aggravatingly slowly. When the clock hits 2 AM, Grayson convinces himself enough time has passed to qualify as a new day.
