章 12: chapter 11
"Hello, it's Author-kun. I apologize for my three-week absence and any inconvenience caused by the delayed chapter. I've read the comments and want to clarify that not all the information in this fanfic is true; a lot of elements are fictional. Regarding the skills, I use a roulette wheel with various abilities and powers, selecting winners randomly. That's why in Chapter 10, the student skills seem odd, and Shizue's clothes are unconventional. I drew inspiration from characters from various novels/manga/anime, incorporating what I could recall of their traits. Chapter 10 was particularly challenging due to personal struggles and to be honest i didnt have much motivation as i need to study now a lot beacuse i need to find something interesting for to do in futureas a job so the chapters are going to be short. Now, with that explanation out of the way, let's dive into the chapter."
"Anos, don't you think it's risky leaving Rimuru with the students?" Shizue voiced her concern.
"Nah, he's a better teacher than both of us combined. He can handle them," I replied confidently. "But to journey all the way to the Eastern Empire?"
"Don't worry too much and let's enjoy our trip to the Eastern Empire," I responded, flashing a reassuring smile.
We trekked through the dense forest, the ancient trees towering above us like silent sentinels. The air was thick with the scent of pine and earth, a testament to the untouched beauty of the wilderness.
"So, Anos, any idea what awaits us in the Eastern Empire?" Shizue asked, her curiosity piqued.
I shook my head, a sense of excitement building within me. "Not entirely sure. But from what I've heard, it's a land of mystery and wonder. Ancient ruins, powerful monsters, you name it."
Shizue nodded thoughtfully, her eyes scanning the horizon. "Sounds like our kind of adventure."
As we walked, we encountered a variety of creatures native to the forest. From graceful deer to playful foxes, each encounter added to the tapestry of our journey.
As the day wore on, we stumbled upon a hidden glade, bathed in golden sunlight. A small waterfall cascaded into a crystal-clear pool, its surface shimmering with rainbow hues.
"Looks like the perfect spot to rest," Shizue remarked, a smile playing on her lips.
I nodded in agreement, setting down our packs and taking a seat by the water's edge. The sound of the waterfall was soothing, a gentle melody that eased the weariness from our bones.
As we sat in companionable silence, I couldn't help but marvel at the beauty of our surroundings. The forest seemed to come alive around us, the air alive with the chirping of birds and the rustling of leaves.
As the sun began to dip below the horizon, casting long shadows across the glade, we decided to make camp for the night. We set up a small fire, its warm glow warding off the encroaching darkness.
As we sat by the fire, roasting marshmallows I felt a sense of peace settle over me.
And as I drifted off to sleep beneath the starlit sky.
