章 294: Replacement

After the inquiry was over and Hilda was sure that they could use Katie as a replacement for the missing girl she asked her men to bind the girl and pushed her into the carriage.

The carriage then straight exited the Ruthmore manor before the town could see the morning sun. 

Katie who was unconscious after all the torture has no idea what was happening to her.

As the carriage exited the boundaries of Worllington Katie regained her consciousness. The pain soured through her body as her foggy mind cleared up and she opened her bloody eyes.

Her beautiful face was covered in blood. The dried trail of blood on her eyelid was making it uncomfortable to open her eyes. Her hands were tied by the ropes tightly and her blood almost stopped flowing towards her palm. 

''Arghh….." A painful moan left her mouth as she tried to move her stiff body. 

"You are up?!" Her movements caught the attention of Hilda who was sitting at the front.
