章 92: Ch 93: Sleepless nights

Lisa's vision kept going in and out of focus. 

She knew it was vital to keep looking at the person before her and not lose focus. But her body wanted her to close her eyes and go to sleep.

Never before had Lisa experienced such a rapid shift from a high-energy day to a complete standstill. It felt like she was a character in a fast-paced movie, her actions dictated by a script she couldn't comprehend.

"Take a deep breath and let the meds do their work. Here's a card for you to come and visit me once you feel better. I will give you a check-up free of charge."

The female promised as she handed Lisa a card for her to take.

It had the doctor's name and her address. Just looking at the card filled Lisa with fear and uncertainty. Her instincts warned her that getting involved with this female could lead to her downfall.

"Thank you so much for your help. I had no idea what to do if not for you. Can you tell us how we can repay you?"
