章 80: Ch 81: Decisions to make

Even though Lisa knew Nick was not safe with her, she could not let go of him. He felt like an essential person to have with her.

"Don't feel so scared. I will always be here for you; if you don't believe me, you don't have to. You just need to live your life and wait for me in it."

Nick assured Lisa before he quickly let go of her.

Lisa felt calmer but also flushed at having Nick close to her. She had not expected this person to be so touchy with her, and it felt weird.

"I think…I will head in now. I spend more time than I expected out here."

Lisa made this excuse, and she quickly ran away.

She was well aware that even Nick knew that this was an excuse on her part. But he did not stop Lisa or call her out on it.

He played along with her with a slight smile on his face.

"Oh, is that so? Then I should not waste your time. Go back and have a nice day at work. I will cheer on you from here."
