Emma felt frustrated as soon as she looked at Nick's smiling face. She wanted to tear it apart and leave the vampire bleeding out.

She did not do that because she knew Lisa would get scared if she saw such a sight.

"Miss Alpha, do you have to be this mean to me? I am trying my best to be around Lisa as much as possible. I even took her home because I felt worried for her."

Nick tried to show how earnest he was about liking Lisa, and Emma finally lost her temper and attacked him.

"You were the one who asked me to head back home! Just because I have work to do and you don't doesn't mean that you can do and say whatever you want to me. Lisa, don't listen to this jerk! There is no need to feel any sympathy for him either."
