The corner of Dr. Clayton's mouth lifted to smile as he quickly changed the subject.
"So let's get to the topic of today's visit instead. How are you and the little birdy you carry inside feeling today?"
"Much better since you gave us the ginger pills," Giselle responded with a gentle smile to the doctor's question.
"Excellent. Now I have a few other items I would like to discuss this morning. The first being, why do you not want to have Agatha as your mid-wife? It would be better if I have a finer understanding; as it affects everyone of the expectant women under my care. I have to know if there is a serious issue."
"The reason I ask Milady, is no one else has mentioned a problem with her. Most of the expectant mothers she has attended to under my supervision have seemed pleased."
I think the good Dr. Clayton has a great idea, keep the commander home to guard his little birdies.
On another note, the novel turned six months old this month and we have surpassed 500k in views over a half million people have looked at the novel. Now if we could just get tham all to read it. LOL!
