The various problems and official business of the pack made Aaron very busy these past few days and I didn't want to let the uncertain dream affect him. Nor did I want to make him worry for me, so I forced a reassuring smile on my face.
I raised my hand to stroke Aaron's cheek, and asked softly, "Are you back already? Are the food problems of the other packs solved?" I asked, worried about the adequacy of those potions.
Aaron nodded to me, giving an affirmative answer, but he also gave me the bad news. "The warriors found rogues in the forest. They found large numbers of rogues gathering near the forest and rushing in groups to the forest boundary."
I widened my eyes in shock and tugged at his sleeves, silently asking him if it wasn’t what I was thinking of.
