章 44: Isn't it right

I started spending my time with Alfric, he was cheerful and always kept me smiling. For some time being I forgot about what happened before... and my sadness faded but it returned again.

Today I went to the market with Alfric but what's interesting is that we were dressed like commoners so that we don't draw attention from people.

"Are you ready for adventure, Oceane?"

Alfric took my hand in his and we ran through the crowd. Woah! I never experienced this kind of feeling... seeing people so close and roaming about freely was really amazing.

I don't have a word to describe this amazing feeling arising in my heart. Since I was adopted in Duke's family, I was never allowed to step out of the mansion.

"There's a tower! From there we can see the whole city, do you want to go there?" Alfric asked me with a cute smile forming on his face.

My eyes flashed with joy and I obediently nodded my head.
