章 17: Nostalgia

"Hmmn,"

Groaning, Takeuchi slowly opened his eyes.

The blinding sunlight coming from the windows blinded his eyes because of the brightness.

But there wasn't anything unusual in his sight.

He was in his classroom, listening to lectures from his homeroom teacher.

Then suddenly, drowsiness came to him.

And just like that, he was dozing off in his class.

It wasn't the first time he had dozed off in class.

At this point, he doesn't even worry anymore about his grades, but somehow, thinking about it makes him depressed.

And then that happens.

Murmurs of conversations in the classroom reach his ears, making his sleepy head sharp and reenergizing his sleepy mind.

The ringing sound of the bell in the class rang, reaching into his ears.

It's time for lunch.

"All right, everyone, it's time for lunch!" their homeroom teacher declared as she walked out of the classroom. "Don't forget about what I'm just saying,"

"Yes, teacher."
