“Merlin!?”

An ear-piercing shriek echoed throughout the dining room within a penthouse of a luxurious condominium at the heart of Bangkok. At the same time, Joke let out an exasperated sigh while picking his ear.

“What are you screaming for, Jane? Someone else would think you saw a ghost.”

“But Joke, it…it’s more than a ghost! It’s Merlin! THAT Merlin!”

Joke could only resume trying to calm her down but to no avail. His sister couldn’t cover up her excitement at all. It was understandable, however, since the person who suddenly appeared inside her home was a nationwide celebrity.

As for the guest, he gave her a wide grin, not minding her reaction at all.

“You have a nice place, Joker. Well, I was shocked by how extravagant it is at first, though.”

The man of moderate height looked active in his t-shirt and jeans. He had a backpack slung over his shoulder as he walked forward with a friendly smile on his face.

Joke had to heave another sigh.
