章 1: The Witches Curse
No One's POV
All was peaceful in the Owl House, well as peaceful you can get when you live on the Boiling Isles. Luz was doing homework on the table in front of the window. Well actually she was calling her friends Gus and Willow on the crystal ball instead of doing homework. "Are you sure you can't find anything about portals?" Luz asked hopefully. "No sorry Luz, see you at school" Willow replied. Luz sighed dejectedly and signed off the crystal ball.
The only thing that can heal Eda and Lilith's curse is the healing hat, but that is in the Emperor's Coven and is probably heavily guarded now Luz thought sadly. She saw the door open to no other than Edric and Emira Blight."We are here to drag you to the fair" Emira said.
Luz just sighed and replied "sorry guys but I still have more research to do". Suddenly she was lifted into the air by green magic. "Cmon you deserve a little fun right now" Edric stated. They set her down and lead her to the market where the fair was being held. They stopped at the center and said "let's meet back here we need to get somethings". "Okay" Luz answered.
She made her way through the fair before a stand selling spells caught her eye. She made her way over to it and searched for spells for portals and cure for curses. During the search someone bumped into her and dropped their scroll. "Sorry about that I should've moved" Luz apologized as she was picking up the scroll the figure dropped. She turned to give it back to the person who pulled their hood down more and thanked her then payed for their scroll.
After that they disappeared. Luz went back to her search only to come across nothing. She sighed dejectedly then headed back to the fair. After she met back up with Edric and Emira they went out for ice cream then said goodbye went their separate ways. Luz went to the library and checked out books on curses and portals then headed home.
There she read the books trying to find a solution to her problem while taking notes on what was important or not. She was halfway through the stack of books when dinner was called. She went down and ate dinner with everyone before continuing her research and note taking.When she was done with her research she reviewed her notes for any crucial information but found nothing. Once she was done she turned off her light and went to sleep.
