章 17: Chapter17: Dresses and Ramen
After we left the Guild, we decided to look for a place to eat.
[ Hmm... do you know any restaurants we can eat to? ] I asked Alice who's walking just beside me.
[ I don't know onii-san, I never experienced eating at any restaurants yet... so I don't know which one should we go to... ] she said while keeping her head down.
[ really? then it's both our first time eating in one. ] at least it will be my first time eating at a restaurant in this world, excluding the restaurants and fast food restaurants I ate to when I was still in my previous world.
[ ... I didn't expect onii-san would take me too... and it's gonna be both our first time... ]
[ hmm...? what's that? ] I'm sure she muttered something.

I Guess she honestly also want to buy new clothes because her's is already full of holes and all tattered.
[ yea... come-on, the plaza's a good choice, you lead the way, okay? ]

[ I'll take this one, hmm... hey Alice? look at this, try putting it on. ] I picked a small blue dress and urged Alice to put it on, she was hesitating so I went inside the changing room and handed her the dress myself.
[ bu-but onii-san! you already picked so many dresses for me! and you haven't bought anything for yourself yet! ] Alice complains.
after we arrived at the Plaza, I immediately found a shop that sells dresses for kids, I thought the dresses were cute so I decided to buy some for Alice.
[ don't worry Alice, I will buy something for my self too later, but let's buy yours for now. ] I'm not worried about the price because the shop is on sale. I actually thought that dresses for girls would be expensive, but apparently, that was not the case.
[ ho-how about the price onii-san!? ] Alice was shivering as she asked me that.
[ don't worry about the price, worry about if the dress suits you. ]
[ that's just wrong in many ways onii-san! ]
[ just go on, try putting it on. ]
[ uwaa... o-okay onii-san, the-then turn away! ] as Alice said so, I immediately leave the changing room.
[ they grow up so fast... ] I muttered to myself.
*** 2 minutes later -
[ ho-how is it? ] Alice then leave the room and asked me that question while holding the skirt of her dress.
Alice is wearing a blue light dress with short a skirt, it honestly doesn't suit her well because of how thin her body is, but I bet that it will if her body wasn't that thin.
I looked at Alice's face, I notice that she's really cute and her skin looks really smooth even if it lacks the plumpness. The blue dress also highlights her silver hair, only if her body is not that thin, I will rate her 100℅ for cuteness. I wonder if she will turn out beautiful when she grows up.
[ hmm... yea, it's suits you too. umm... miss, I'll take this one too. ] I turn to the store clerk and said so.
[ is it really okay onii-san? owning seven dresses is too much for me... ]
[ it's fine, don't worry about it. ] I patted her head as I said so.
[ so, how much is it? ]
[ yes, the price for these seven dresses would be... 7 silver coins and 7 copper coins. ]
I guess that's already cheap, considering the prices I saw on the other dresses that were not on sale.

[ Alice, don't take that dress off, we already bought it, wear it for now, it suits you well. ] after my business with the cashier, I saw Alice trying to take off her blue dress, so I stopped her from doing so.
[ I-is that so? ]
[ yes, so let's go out, I'm really, really hungry since we finished our mission. ]

We are now in the middle of the plaza, looking around the area to look for any places we could eat, but the Plaza is really crowded so we're struggling to find any.
[ hmm... How about that one? ] I pointed at a large beautiful building, I don't know if it's a restaurant or a church... it looks like a large Catholic church, but I can see people inside
eating so I guess it's not?
[ umm... I don't think we should go in there onii-san... that place is only for nobles, any commoners who get caught inside will immediately be thrown out in prison or worst even executed. ]
[ what the hell is that!? ] Who the hell is the owner of this restaurant to have that kind of rule.
[ hmm... how about that one over there? ] Alice pointed at a small looking Ramen Shop.
[ wait a minute... ] I knitted my eyes to get a clearer view.
[ hey...? isn't that just a Ramen Shop? ] wow... to be able to see something that is common from my previous world in this world.
[ yea... I guess that one will be better. ]
we went inside, even the inside looks really nostalgic, I feel like I'm back in Japan again. there are no other customers inside so it's really quiet.
[ welcome. ] a middle-aged man greeted us as soon as we got inside.
I carried Alice and made her sit on one of the chairs because I know she wouldn't do it herself. I then sat just beside Alice.
[ I like to order two of your specialty. ] I can't read anything from the menu so I just asked for their best meal instead.
[ of course, please wait a moment while I cook it for you. ]
*** 5 minutes later.
[ now Isn't this just a normal Ramen? ] What was in front of me was the exact ramen I last ate from my previous world.
A ramen with golden broth, three pieces of meat and an egg as toppings, and thick noodles below those toppings.
[ How nostalgic... ] I almost cried.
