章 49: Cao Tai's Experience in Leech

Day 3 in leech, it has not given me any chance to escape, I've tried to use my purple arrow back in day one but I'm afraid that it didn't work, so I decided that now may be a good time to train hard, so what I've been mainly sleeping through the days training and doing simulations against mobs.

"THUNK! THUNK! THUNK!" All three of the zombie samurai swordsmen fall, the system sends another congratulations, its kind of funny that I have to shoot zombie samurai swordsmen but the system says that I may run into all of the mobs it throws at me in real life, so its like I'm studying for a major test or something.

For some reason that I do know of, I haven't ever faced an enemy that I've known, for example, a very jealous Violet or something. Or like Lantla, since you know, she already is kind of mad at me at the moment.

How does it know that I was asking that?

It does make System nosy, but it makes it significantly easier than starting a phrase with, 'Hey System...'

Darn, well I wasn't exactly wanting to do that anyways, but anyways, can you give me something than undead soldiers? Like maybe some cool mythical beasts or something?

50 angry Centaur's show up roughly 500 meters away from me, beginning to charge at me, I pull my bowstring back, and enchant a red arrow, quickly muttering, "Imgoingtodie" Before releasing, drawing before impact.

Day 4 in Leech.

For the first time since Day 2 I open my eyes, for some reason the Leech was more see-through than usual, and I could see Violet and Lantla's expressions, Violet was pacing around as she was, probably nonstop, making a very furious grimace, and Lantla was sitting nearby, with a significantly less composed face than when she locked me up, I guess she can't move or else the monster will disappear, or she wants to be here so she can gloat her victory. Either way, I'll probably dehydrate before I concede. [Ignores the fact that if you went 4 days without water nasty things happen]

Violet suddenly leaps upon the Leech, this time with her sword looking different, and this time the result was different, this time Leech split apart, and the heat from the sun, the song of birds, the cool breeze all hit me at once. And I feel tempted to just crawl back in, but instead I'm carried out bridal style by Violet. So much for dignity, pride, and forget about getting married... to anyone but Violet...

"Are you alright, Master?" She asks, with an anxious expression. "I just want some water," I rasp, your voice sounds funny after not using it for 4 days, I realize. "How's the sword training going?" I ask, trying to change the conversation.

Violet puts me down and turns around, "It's going fine, I've been practicing on how much I can enhance this sword before it would blow up," She said, turning around with a canteen in hand, "How did you find out what the magical amount was?" I ask, I bet she stole several swords and just tried again and again. "I believed in you, Master. That you would get me the finest sword you could get your hands on, and my faith was true!" She says, proud.

Well I guess that blacksmith is quite talented indeed to be able to make a sword to handle Violets Enhancement Magic. I turn to Lantla.

"Did you learn your lesson or will Violet have to lock you into a prison of swords?" I bark, still quite furious with having to put up with my system for that long without an escape.

"What did I do wrong?" Lantla asks, feigning innocence.

"Ohh... Don't get me started little girl!" I start, she then stands up, a statement that shes not so little, "Also, this is why I haven't let you receive a Soul Contract, since you may abuse it, since I don't think I can break it once we've been bound," I continue, "So you must prove to me that your worthy of such honor," I finish, Violet nodding in agreement.

"How can I prove that I am worthy of such things?" She asks, but she already knows what my answer would be, I just raise my eyebrow and she sighs, but she understands what the answer was.

"Also, why did you stay so close to me while that Leech was eating me?" I ask.

"Unlike you probably assumed, I do not need to be close to the monster, at least not that close, I just wanted to be there when you admitted defeat. And its not a Leech!" Lantla protests.

I shake my head in disagreement but move on with my day, after all, what can I do to Lantla?
