Edmund went to find Derrek, his mood turned sour upon hearing Francis' authoritative words. He found a reason to make Derrek mad at Declan. He arrived at the mansion in no time and walked up to Derrek's room.

On the way, he ran into Amber, who pretended not to recognize him and attempted to walk past him.

"Amber…" He blocked her path. "Do you not recognize me?"

Amber scowled at him, clearly annoyed. "Step aside," she said sternly.

"What? Are you seriously unable to recognize me? I am Edmund, your cousin."

Amber's eyes hardened. "You, your father, and my mother... you are all the same... pathetic liars... greedy... I hate you all."

She pushed him away and made her way to her room.

"What the hell happened? Has she completely lost her mind? Edmund snorted and went into Derrek's room, muttering, "Who cares?"

He saw Derrek sitting on a sofa with his laptop working on his app. He sneered inwardly.
