章 194: Chapter 193- The fear of darkness

Declan stood outside the bathroom, flexing his fingers. He couldn't control his rage as he thought she had spent the entire day with Derrek and was showing him her fangs and claws upon her return home as if he were her enemy. He was so pissed that he wanted to barge into the bathroom and drag her out.

Just then, the light went out. Declan froze, and goosebumps started to rise on his arms.

"Ah…" Before Declan could think of anything, Yasmin's ear-piercing scream shook the room.

Panic struck his heart.

"Yasmin…" He yelled and stormed into the bathroom, ignoring his discomfort.

Whether she heeded his warning to leave the house or not, she clearly remembered his advice not to close the bathroom door since he was afraid she would fall again and hurt herself. 

In that darkness, he could see nothing, and it was dreadful. But he could hear the crutch making a clicking noise on the floor. He stretched his hand and moved forward.
