I woke up feeling rested, unlike I did on the flight. Getting out of the bed was quite the challenge since it was so soft and comfortable.
I forced myself to get up, slipped on my robe and went to brush my teeth and wash my face to help me wake up.
I walked over to the balcony to find that Izan was not lying about the amazing sunrise. It was beautiful. The sky light gradually touched the town, softly waking it up. It was nature's canvas with beauty that could not be replicated.
I closed my eyes as the sunlight kissed my face ever so softly, filling me with its energy.
A knock on the door brought me out of my moment of pure serenity. I walked over to the door to meet a different attendant than Maya bringing in my breakfast. The tray contained a small fruit bowl, oatmeal, boiled eggs and a croissant. There was also a small pot of coffee and hot water for tea.
"Thank you!" I said with a little extra perkiness than I usually had in the mornings.
