“I’ve been chosen to do the portraits of the several Houses this year.” Jun says as she paints. A soft breeze filed with the scent of roses sweeps across us. Her 19th century-esque garden sets the stage for the soft golden backdrop of sunset rays. “I want to get House of Konn just right, so I appreciate you being my subject today.”
“Of course.” I say as I sit straighter. A sudden shake grips my right hand, embarrassed, I quickly grab it with my left before she can see.
“I’m not sure of my technique. As you know, I normally I take photos then paint the portraits or landscapes later…just out of curiosity, were the other previous painters any good?” She casually says.
“Well yes, it’s the reason they were chosen to capture our portraits.”
She gently taps her head and rolls her eyes. “Of course, sorry, I’m just a bit nervous.”
“If the portraits end up like any of the paintings you’ve made for me, then you’ll do great.”
She smiles and sighs.
