There was an antique clock hanging on the wall by the surgery room door. I glanced at it, then asked with a furrowed brow in a muted voice, "How are Louis and Mark doing? Has David's patrol team met up with them yet?"

Hearing my question, a Lycan holding a folder beside Benjamin stepped forward, bowed his head, and replied gravely, "Your Majesty, Captain David has already met up with Louis and the others. It's estimated that it will take another four hours to reach the Palace."

"Also, we just received a satellite call from Captain Christian. He said they are about to enter the territory of the Windstorm Pack, and if all goes well, they'll be able to bring the prisoners back to the Palace by this time tomorrow."
