章 37: Aaron vs Jester

Jester's voice trembled, trailing off into a disbelieving hush as he grappled with the impossible tableau playing out before his eyes.

In a blink, Aaron's form underwent a bewildering metamorphosis, leaving Jester staggered and vulnerable.

Before he could even gather his wits, Aaron was standing inches away from him, his hands clamped around his throat, hoisting him into the air with a bone-crushing grip.

Lolita reached for a slender stick concealed on her person. With a swift press of a button, extended and turned into a spear that gleamed with a brilliant blue diamond-shaped edge.

She flung it towards Aaron's unsuspecting back, her muscles taut with determination. But the spearhead shattered upon impact, leaving her wide-eyed and clutching the fractured remnants.

Her shock deepened as she witnessed Aaron's swift change, encased in a menacing black suit of armor.
