Hope this get translated. The pre-quel is the best novel i've ever read. In previous book, I love all about how to build the MC. How slow pace the MC is build. So I realy want to see how the development character for Han Li in this book.

This a great novel. If you are bored from the repetitive arrogant young master and face slapping. This is the Novel for you. But i must say this book is the continuation. So i urge you to atleast read the summary of the previous book before reading this one.

In the first dozen of chapters we are introduce to the MC's fox friend. After a cool fight, we are once again are put through the torture of reading the MC losing his powers for the fourth time in the story, but now we have to deal with his apparent lack of memories on top of it. This is completely ridiculous for the author to think that this was a good idea to start the second part of his book. And don't forget guys, this fic takes place right after the MC goes to the Fairy World right when he REGAINED his powers for the THIRD TIME. I really don't know if I should even attempt reading this any longer. This author clearly grew to big for his own good and created a disaster of a story so far. As of now the first translator has done a horrible job with the translation. By giving characters names like White Jade and Daoist This and That. It is clearly obvious this work is derived from google translate with little time put into fixing the grammar and sentence structures. Overall I'll wait till a good 200 chapters are translated. So I can skip a head where we have a MC who is back to his previous strength. Right now this fic is a solid 2/5 for everything being subpar. I'll update this with in the next five years.

Some warnings for those who want to start reading this novel. This novel is a direct continuation of the previous work with the same name. So talking directly about the aspects of this novel is a spoiler of the previous work. I will talk about the previous work. This is a very different novel from wuxia standards: The protagonist is weak and his advantage (cheat) only serves as support and does not bring much difference in his power. There are no clichés like face slap, arrogant young master, powerful master who knows everything, or powerful women falling in love with the protagonist. This is a story about a mortal who luckily has the opportunity to walk towards immortality. So the protagonist is average. He is a Jack of all trades, knows and use many things,but is not an expert on anything. This is one of the only novels I read that mine gave me the feeling of an average cultivator who manages to prevail through schemes, struggles and luck, cultivating higher and higher. It's not like the universe is helping him or some treasure or absurd solution falls from the sky to help the protagonist. So I highly recommend it.
