章 268: Victim to Time

A sense of normalcy had returned to Varya and Basileus as they worked to rebuild what had been destroyed during the invasion. 

With this allowed them the security of finally being able to plan a wedding. 

While they were supposed to have tied the knot in the next couple of weeks, instead they were having to push things further out and wait - something which neither of them wanted to have to do. 

Figuring out how they were going to break the news to the advisors came hand in hand with wedding planning, unfortunately. They couldn't pull out large sums of money to pay for the wedding without the approval of advisors. 

One thing Ebari and Varya had changed when Kruos was kicked off the throne was the emperor's right to spend money as much as they wanted. With the idea that they were having a transparent reign came the advisors' need to know more than they could have ever expected. 

It was becoming a thorn in the happy couple's side.
